In this illustrated talk, Jane Wilkinson, our Head of Conservation, will describe the challenges, discoveries and methods of conserving 183 plaster casts as part of the current restoration of Sir John Soane’s Drawing Office. She will also present and discuss one of the casts that is in the process of being conserved.
