Sir John Soane’s atmospheric Library-Dining Room is the perfect setting for exclusive and intimate dinners. Your guests will dine in a unique Regency interior, surrounded by Soane’s collection of books, Ancient Greek vases, and paintings.

Pre-dinner drinks can be served in the elegant first floor Drawing Rooms, before an expert member of Museum staff will lead guests on a candlelit tour of some of the Museum’s most spectacular spaces.

Discover the Dome area, where you’ll see architectural fragments, casts, and the 3,000 year-old sarcophagus of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, before visiting the famous Picture Room. With paintings by Canaletto, Hogarth and Turner, the walls swing open – to reveal dozens more paintings hidden beyond.

We can accommodate up to 30 guests for dinner.

Prices are £6,000 + VAT for exclusive hire of the Museum.

Hire fees do not include catering costs, which can be obtained from our excellent approved caterers.

“Tonight’s gathering at the Soane’s Museum was such a treat!  To have the museum and collections all to ourselves, shimmering in candlelight made for such a memorable evening.  You and your colleagues who helped organize and run the event couldn’t have been more gracious and accommodating.”
