As part of this year’s Open House Festival, you are invited to go behind the scenes of the Museum at no. 14, Lincoln’s Inn Fields.

Bought by Sir John in 1823, the third of his purchases on Lincoln’s Inn Fields, the original house was torn down, with a bespoke new property built in order to extend Soane’s Museum even further. Passing into private hands after his death, this beautiful house was incorporated into Sir John Soane’s Museum in 1996. Today, it serves many important purposes, as well as being another stunning example of the architect’s signature style.

Visitors will be able to see the Library and Adam Study Centre at No.14 and view architectural drawings and models from Soane’s collection not normally on display to the public.

There’s no need to pre-book, so just pop in!
