The winning and commended entries of the second Architecture Drawing Prize, held in partnership with Make Architects and the World Architecture Festival, are exhibited at Sir John Soane’s Museum.
Launched in 2017, the prize is conceived to celebrate and showcase the significance of drawing as a tool in capturing and communicating architectural ideas. It embraces the creative use of digital tools and digitally-produced renderings, while recognising the enduring importance of hand drawing.
Join us on the final weekend of The Architecture Drawing Prize exhibition to celebrate the art of architectural drawing at this exclusive after-hours candlelit event. Explore the exhibition and museum, hear curators’ talks, watch demonstrations and participate in hands-on drawing workshops – while sipping a glass of wine. Over the evening you can enjoy the full run of the Museum with the rare opportunity to take photos, as well as to sketch.
