Adam Trainee Cataloguer TOP

Contract: 2.5 years fixed-term contract, 35 hour week

Salary: £22,641 p.a.

The Role

You will work on cataloguing drawings from the later decades of Adam's career, principally for commissions in Scotland but also in Wales and Ireland.

Training and mentorship will be provided.

Casual Visitor Assistant (Weekends) Rate of pay £12.05 per hour including holiday supplement TOP

We are looking to recruit Casual Visitor Assistants who are passionate about ensuring all our visitors have an excellent experience while maintaining the security of the collections You will be offered shifts that fall on Saturdays and Sundays, and you will be expected to work on a regular basis. There may be limited opportunities to work during the week (Wednesday to Friday when the Museum is open) or in the evening.

Guidebook Seller - Casual Pay £12.05 per hour including holiday supplement TOP

This specialist role is absolutely essential to generating income for the Museum.  The post holder greets every visitor, offers to sell them a guidebook and map as well as explaining the best way to enjoy the Museum. This role also supports the museum’s shop and has excellent personal development opportunities.

Each shift lasts for 4 hours either from 9:45am to 1:45pm or 12:45pm to 4:45pm. Ideally you will be offered the same time slot(s) each week.
