Accessibility
The Museum welcomes disabled visitors and our staff do everything possible to maximise the enjoyment of our visitors. However, access to this building is complicated.
Please take the time to read the relevant information on the accompanying pages – we have tried to explain it as helpfully as possible!
The Museum is a Grade I listed building which has been largely unaltered since the early 19th century. For this reason access for some disabled people is limited.
Disabled visitors are encouraged to contact the Museum in advance whenever possible to ensure that staff and, if required, wheelchairs, are available without delay.
There is detailed contact information on all pages below but if you are visiting the Museum today and need immediate advice, please ring 020 7405 2107
All groups of six or more people must book in advance. The booking enables staff to plan in advance how best to meet the needs of the group.
The Museum is advised by a Publicity and Access Consultative Team (PACT) please click here for more information about the Team.
