"…to bring the moonlight into a chamber"

After sunset, the Museum's first Artist-in-Residence Sam Belinfante will present an ambulatory performance of new and found music and theatre, playing with the ways in which the Museum and Soane himself are both illuminated and elucidated.

Using Shakespeare’s extraordinary Midsummer Night’s Dream as both libretto and plan, the artist, museum staff and a chorus of amateur and professional musicians will rehearse, restage and rearrange key elements of Soane’s architecture and the adjacent theatrical structures.

About the event

Doors will open at 18.45. The performance begins at 19.00 and will last around an hour. A glass of wine or soft drink is included in your ticket price.
