House and Facilities Manager
he TTTTGH The The The Museum is seeking an exceptional House Manager to work alongside Conservation, Collections and Visitor Services staff to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the three Grade I listed buildings which comprise this small but high profile National Museum with 120,000 visitors a year.
You will be responsible for the operation of the buildings, act as the principal key holder, be responsible for fire, security and other infrastructure and be in overall charge of Heath and Safety. Other duties involve responsibility for the Museum's fire safety and security strategies (including the Fire Risk Assessment and its implementation, organising fire and security training for all staff working with the Head of Visitor Services, liaising with fire authorities and security providers and procuring new equipment/systems as required), overseeing building and other contractors, administering contracts for maintenance of services/equipment, organising building maintenance and minor repairs, supporting the conservation team with object movements/protection works etc. and helping to oversee the cleaning of the Museum carried out by the Front of House team (both routing and 'conservation' cleaning.)
