Join Curator of Exhibitions, Dr Louise Stewart for a 45-minute tour of Hell in its Heyday. Hear about the inspiration for the 22 large scale watercolours – created especially for Sir John Soane’s Museum – as you are guided through Pablo Bronstein’s bombastic cityscape of hell.

Take a tour of Bronstein’s sumptuously detailed and architecturally ironic vision of hell. Imagined as a monumental city, visitors will be led through the artist’s depictions of concert halls, casinos, botanical gardens, car factories and oil rigs. The tour will take place across the Soane Museum’s exhibition galleries and finish with a viewing of Bronstein’s new film, featuring a group of diabolical antique dealers performing a masked ballet.

The tour will take place on Wednesday 8 December.
