Step into the house and museum of the distinguished Regency architect Sir John Soane.
Free timed tickets are necessary to enter Sir John Soane's Museum, which includes entry to our major exhibition Hogarth: Place and Progress.
Unlike other National Museums, all of the Soane’s exhibitions are free. As you book your timed tickets, we hope you will consider making a £10 contribution towards our exhibition programme, and the ongoing preservation of the Museum.

Please note that timed tickets are not available to book online on the day. A limited number of tickets are issued on the door on a first come first served basis. For more information, please read our Timed ticketing FAQs, and find out more about getting to and visiting the Museum on our Plan Your Visit page.
The Museum is at its most awe-inspiring after dark, its vast, eclectic collections lit spectacularly by spotlights and candles. Join us at one of our Soane Lates to explore the idiosyncratic spaces and collections after normal opening hours.
