Join artist Pablo Bronstein for a 45-minute tour of Hell in its Heyday. Hear about the inspiration for the 22 large scale watercolours – created especially for Sir John Soane’s Museum – as the artist guides you through his bombastic cityscape of hell.
Take a tour of Bronstein’s sumptuously detailed and architecturally ironic vision of hell. Imagined as a monumental city, visitors will be led through the artist’s depictions of concert halls, casinos, botanical gardens, car factories and oil rigs. The tour will take place across the Soane Museum’s exhibition galleries and finish with a viewing of Bronstein’s new film, featuring a group of diabolical antique dealers performing a masked ballet.
The tour begins promptly 1pm in the Exhibition Gallery. We are in a Grade I listed, 19th-century building, so access is not always straightforward. If you require step-free access or extra assistance, please contact us in advance of your booking on email@example.com or 020 7405 2107.
