Tours

Group looks at objects in the Monk's Parlour on a guided tour, led by Deputy Director Helen DoreySir John Soane’s Museum offers expert tours of its wonderful interiors.  There is so much to see that it is easy to miss some of the highlights as you explore the Museum unescorted – not least because the atmospheric historic spaces are preserved as they were when Soane died in 1837 and so there are no labels and panels.   Take one of our Saturday or mid-week tours to get the most from your visit and gain some fascinating insights into Soane’s life and collections.

Saturday Tours

We offer a Museum tour each Saturday at 11.00am. Saturday tours cannot be prebooked. Tickets go on sale in our main entrance from 10.30am each Saturday and cost £10.  The tour lasts around an hour.
