A specially curated tour of Sir John Soane’s Museum – with cocktails.

Sir John Soane was fascinated by memory and the ways buildings and objects can bring to mind past times, while also sparking new memories to be recalled in the future. The Soane Museum is his Memory Palace made real – a mental repository of knowledge, experience and ideas arranged through a series of uniquely-powerful physical spaces. In this special event, join Soane curators as they lead you on a journey through the architecture of Soane’s mind to discover the Memory Palace that lies within his Museum. At this event, you can expect:

  • A 70-minute curator-led tour of the Museum (group size max. 12)
  • Two memory-inducing cocktails: one on arrival and one at the end of your tour
  • A special opportunity to experience the Museum at dusk by candlelight
