Experience a Georgian Christmas at the Soane at this exclusive evening candlelit event.
Enjoy warming cocktails and mince pies in the antique glow of mirrored glass as you explore Soane’s curious house-museum.
In the Kitchens, renowned food historian Tasha Marks will return to the Museum with her amazing scent jars and host interactive talks with ingredients that Mrs. Conduit, Soane’s housekeeper, would have stocked during winter months. And in the inviting Library-Dining Room, two Regency guests will commemorate 200 years since Jane Austen’s death with a spirited reading from Emma. A harpist will also serenade the company with a classic repertoire of carols and tunes.
Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to join Soane Staff for carols in the elegantly-appointed Drawing Rooms.
And save 10% on your Christmas shopping in our shop, filled with gifts for even the most discerning artist in your life.
It’s the perfect festive evening for any seasoned Londoner or first-time visitor and photography will be very much encouraged.
Tickets available for arrival at either 18:00, 18:30, 19:00 or 19:30. The evening ends at 21:00 for all arrival times.
