This catalogue was produced for the ‘Artists at the Hustings’ exhibition and details Hogarth’s masterpiece of 18^th century political satire ‘The Humours of an Election ’. It details every aspect of Hogarth’s series of four paintings that tell the tail of a notoriously corrupt parliamentary election in Oxfordshire in 1754.
