New children’s holiday activities at Sir John Soane’s Museum

The Education Department is excited to announce the launch of our new season of children’s holiday activities (October 2013 – January 2014).

Kicking off this half term we’ll be offering a host of inspiring activities and wonderful workshops for both children and families.

If they dare, this Halloween children are invited to the Soane to create their very own canopic jar, ghastly gargoyle, or city-in-a-box. And for those brave enough, we have an extra special treat as we bring the storytelling skills of the Crick-Crack Club to the Soane for the very first time. Enjoy gruesome tales by candlelight in our hauntingly atmospheric No.12 Breakfast Room.

If by then you haven’t died of fright, why not join us through Christmas and New Year to design your own wrapping paper, create a pop up picture room calendar or take part in a puppet pantomime.

Autumn fun at the Soane awaits!
