Commentary
The date of the hearing at Bow Street Magistrates' Court had been the subject of much wrangling, but has finally been set. Soane recorded elsewhere in his diary, At home all day, writing an account of the projections etc. in LIF [i.e. Lincoln's Inn Fields] & examining drawers for the mislaid Act of Parl:t relating to LIF. He was obviously busy preparing his case to counter Kinnard's objections.
