6 Aug [ust] Rained in the early part of the [...?] last night and began again about ½ past 7, but not enough to stop the work.

Commentary
The poor weather continued, although Soane's words with Mr Lee on August 5th appear to have had the desired effect and work seems to have continued to Soane's satisfaction - so much so that there is not another entry in the notebook until the 10th.
