Tuesday 18 Aug. In the evening the brickwork was completed, except two small parts in the staircase, ready for the plates under the floor of [the] Drawing Room

Work appears to have progressed to Soane's satisfaction - at least there are no complaints at his workmen having overdone the previous day's celebrations.  The drawing rooms referred to here are on the first floor, the present day North and South Drawing Rooms, so the building is really beginning to take shape.
