SIR JOHN SOANE'S MUSEUM

MUSEUM WARDER REQUIRED

Warder required for Sir John Soane's Museum, WC2. The first priority of the post is Security. Duties include providing assistance and information to visitors, sales and cleaning duties.

Applicants need to be in excellent health as Warders are on their feet all day and some lifting/carrying up and down our many stairs is required. The position would suit a reliable, responsible individual with an interest in architecture/history/art and the willingness to work as a member of a friendly team. Living locally and possessing some practical skills would be an advantage. The Museum is an equal opportunities employer. The successful candidate will be required to obtain an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.

HOURS: 8am - 6pm, varied rota, 42 hours p.w., Tuesday - Saturday
SALARY: £15,840 p.a.
