Dance

by Dina

Soane was sitting down thinking what to do. He was really bored.

He heard the door bell ring so he got up from his seat and opened the door to this stranger. The stranger said "I really need someone to work for me."

"But I don't know who you are and I don't think it's a good idea because you're a complete stranger." said Soane.

"Would you let me in and I'll tell you all about me?"

Soane let the complete stranger into his house because he did look friendly. The stranger's name was George Dance, he was born in 1790 and he used to draw pictures, he was a cartoonist. After he told Soane about himself he asked Soane if he was going to work for him.

Soane said "Why, what are you doing? I really do need to work."

So Soane agreed to work for Dance and Dance was really happy after he agreed.

Soane worked very hard drawing for Dance. He was the first person to work for him. Soane wasn't that bored because he had some things to do, he had to think of ideas for Dance to draw and he had to cook for him because Dance used to come home tired.

But Soane didn't have to work every day for him because Dance did have day-offs on Friday's and Saturdays.
Soane really liked Dance's pictures so he asked if he could buy a few off him.
Dance said "Why, certainly, yes."

So Soane collected his pictures and put them into his chest. After a few months Soane thought Dance was a very good person to work for. That's how his life worked out.

The End.
