Soane Revisited: A Journey of Discovery of the Buildings of Sir John Soane
29 March - 3 August 1996
Between August 1994 and December 1995, architect Ptolemy Dean visited and recorded the minor sites and projects across Britain of one of England's greatest architects - Sir John Soane.
Soane designed everything from cow sheds to country houses, church monuments to the Bank of England and this exhibition presents Ptolemy Dean's record of Soane's buildings in remarkable site sketchbooks and photographs. The exhibition also features a selection of Soane's own drawings and sketchbooks.
