The Soane Patrons’ Circle is made up of a friendly and eclectic group of individuals who wish to support the work of Sir John Soane’s Museum in London. Soane saw his house and collections as a museum where students and lovers of architecture, art and sculpture could study, reflect and learn.
Through the generosity of Patrons, the Museum is able to extend and develop its education and exhibition programmes and provide important conservation care for its unique collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture, furniture and architectural fragments. It also allows those who share a passion for art and architecture to meet at relaxed, sociable and stimulating events and explore further the world of John Soane, his contemporaries and their legacy.
Membership is restricted to no more than 250 individuals worldwide.
In return for an annual donation of £1,500 (which includes a subscription of £500 and a charitable gift of £1,000), patrons are offered the opportunity to participate in a number of exclusive events including:
