Ways to help the Soane

The Museum has several different methods of accepting donations. Please feel free to use whichever suits you best.

Please note that any online donation qualifies the donor to become a member of the Museum's iSoane group, people with an interest in the Museum and its activities who receive our e-newsletter three times a year.

To join, just tick the contact by email box when making your donation. 

JustGiving

Justgiving is one of the simplest ways to help the Museum. Online donations can be completed in as little as 20 seconds, so your help reaches us as quickly as possible.

PayPal

If you’d prefer you can use Paypal to make a donation. Just fill in the form below to ensure we can claim back your GiftAid (If you’re eligible) and click the “Make a donation” button to go through to the secure Paypal server. You don’t need a Paypal account to use this option, you can simply use your normal credit or debit card.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and select Gift Aid we will be able to increase your gift by reclaiming tax from HM Revenue and Customs, at no extra cost to you.

  I am a UK taxpayer and pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or UK Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that can be reclaimed on my donation in the appropriate tax year. I wish Sir John Soane's Museum (Registered charity, no.313609) to treat all donations I have made to the Museum for the six years prior to this tax year, and all donations to the Museum which I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise as Gift Aid donations.

Making a donation by post

To make a donation by post, simply complete a form (available to download below) and return it to our Appeal Coordinator, Magnus Copps at

You can use this method to make a donation by cheque, debit/credit card or to set up a standing order for regular donations to the Museum, such as a subscription to our Supporters’ Circle.
