London, Life and Hogarth

Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July | £45 | 10 places
Explore Hogarth and his times as depicted in his paintings. The two days include a visit to St Bartholomew’s Hospital to see Hogarth’s Murals.

Soane Museum Summer School: ‘Bridges’
Monday 27 – Friday 31 July | £140 | 10 places
This year the Summer School theme is Bridges. Starting with a rare opportunity to draw in the Museum on Monday and an exploration of items from the collection not normally seen by the public, the week will allow participants to develop creative ideas into a final, mixed-media piece. Full details of the programme are available from the Museum Education Manager.

  • Workshops will start promptly at 10.15am with coffee and registration from 10.00am.
  • The workshop fee includes light refreshments during the day and lunch. A vegetarian option is available and should be requested as a preference when booking your workshop.
  • Please note that lunch is not provided on Saturday workshops.
  • The workshop will end with a brief review session between 3.30 and 4.00pm.
  • For workshops you may be required to bring sketch books and pencils. Further details of workshops, including the programme for the course and requirements of what to bring, will be sent out to participants after booking.
